Bread for Life of America, Inc. (B4L), is a non-profit organization established in 2009 by Joel and Gia Hopkins, for the specific purpose of eliminating hunger through community based collaborative service, research, and mentoring of the general public. We promote the importance of a nutritious diet through education, outreach, and partnerships. From 2009 to 2013, B4L delivered food along the east coast to communities in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.
Since 2014, Bread for Life of America, Inc. has provided over 307,200 meals to the residents of Wake and Nash counties in North Carolina through our monthly mobile food market. Our commitment is to help improve the welfare of rural areas in America by serving free non-perishable items, frozen meats, fresh produce and other essential items while teaching the importance of healthy eating.
We provide our neighbors with access to healthy food and community resources. Our monthly mobile food market is open every third Saturday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Zebulon Boys & Girls Club (1320 Shepard School Rd, Zebulon, NC 27597).

Inter-Faith Food Shuttle generously provides our mobile market with fresh produce, frozen meats, breads, and other essential food items. You can make sure that we always have enough food to share with our neighbors by donating directly to Inter-Faith Food Shuttle.
